3D Printed Medieval Chess Set
Utilizing State-of-Art technology, this 3D printed, Medieval Themed Chess Set is an exact detailed replica of the original Ceramic Medieval Set.
The Medieval Theme Chess Set is one of the first Sets I sculpted, and this 3D printed Set is based on my brand new version of this Classic Theme. As with all my Character work, each piece exhibits extensive detail. Everything from facial expressions, to hair styles, hands and details in clothing and jewelry.
I had each individual Chess piece, meticulously “light-Scanned” for the most accurate exact read of the Character’s detail. And with the file I obtained on each Chess piece, I’ am able to reproduce this Character using my top of the line, Form Labs 3D printer. The printer uses a liquid Poly-Resin to print each Character, which then hardens once finished printing.
Each Chess piece is then carefully, Hand-Flashed, and prepped, before being individually Hand-Painted
