Penguin Cookie Jar

Hand sculpted, dapper looking, Penguin Jar. Featuring delicate, outward pointing wings and a tiny tail in the rear. The chest and belly, embossed with circles and ovals, are glazed satin white. The head, wings and backside are glazed in a shiny black with flecks of white and it features a bright orange beak. The large acrylic eyes sparkle an Icy Blue. The head functions as the lid. Earthenware clay, with Food Safe glaze. Each Jar is signed on the bottom.

Doug creates the most wonderful whimsical pieces. They make me smile every time I look at them – I don’t even need cookies inside – the jar itself brings me joy.
