Robot Cookie Jar

Hand sculpted and wheel thrown components are utilized in creating this stunning Robot Cookie Jar. Airbrushed metallic 18 karat Gold plating covers much of this character, with Gloss White arms and legs, bright Orange chest and a pair of Black prongs as hands holding a chocolate chip cookie against its belly. The expressive and quizzical looking face & head, with antennae, which are topped with round balls is encased under a glass dome. This glass dome is securely glued with silicone into a Gold plated ring and serves as the lid. Earthenware clay and Food Safe Glaze. Each Robot is signed underneath the feet.

I have been following the artistic progress in Doug Anderson’s work for many years. Doug’s pieces are fabulously original, and precise and exacting in their workmanship… The whimsical ceramic snail that I own is a joy for me to look at each day. It is always admired too, by others who appreciate the originality of the piece. All who see it, comment on the quality and the complimentary color combination as well… I am so very happy that I finally own a Doug Anderson original!
